What is Banana Pudding Lasagna?
Don’t let the name scare you! It is TRULY one of the best, easiest summertime desserts that’s perfect for any gathering or get together. Made with a cream cheese pudding base and topped with fresh bananas and vanilla wafers, this deliciously simple layered dessert is a favorite!
Ingredients
The ingredients for this recipe are so simple and easy to find. Here’s what you’ll need:

Cream Cheese – Any type of cream cheese works great for this recipe.
Heavy Whipping Cream + Milk + Sugar – The base of the dessert! If you don’t have heavy whipping cream on hand, feel free to use regular milk instead.

Bananas – Bananas are sliced and layered over the pudding base.
Vanilla Wafers – Wafers are layered over the bananas for the final touch on this delicious summer dessert!

Tips: Take It Up A Notch
- Make sure that the cream cheese is room temperature before starting the recipe! This will help keep from getting “lumps” of cream cheese in the pudding base.
- Refrigerate for at least two hours before serving for best results.
- Mix it up and take things up a notch by using ginger snaps instead of vanilla wafers! It may sound crazy, but the depth of flavor it adds to this recipe is INCREDIBLE. Everyone will love it and wonder what the secret ingredient is!
- You can also substitute crumbled vanilla wafers for the graham cracker crumbs in the crust.
Storing Banana Pudding Lasagna
Cover the Banana Pudding Lasagna in an airtight wrap and store in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. You can also store the dessert overnight or even up to 12 hours before serving!
