Chocolate Cream Cheese Filling
Softened cream cheese, butter, sugar, an egg, cocoa powder, and crumbled Oreos are all the ingredients you’ll need for the chocolate cream cheese filling. You can also use brown sugar instead of granulated sugar to add a warmer flavor. This filling recipe takes Oreo Cinnamon Rolls to another level!

How to Make Cookies & Cream Cinnamon Rolls
Here’s how to make the BEST ever Cookies & Cream Cinnamon Rolls recipe that’s indulgent and delicious!
1. Make the Dough
Mix the dough ingredients together (in a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment or by hand), roll it into a ball, and let rise for 1 hour. The dough should double in size!
2. Add the Filling
Combine the filling ingredients together. Roll out the cinnamon roll dough and add the filling in an even layer.
3. Add Crumbled Oreos
Sprinkle the crumbled Oreos on top of the filling, then roll the dough and cut into individual cinnamon rolls.
TIP: Some say it’s best to use unflavored dental floss to slice cinnamon rolls to perfection. However, a sharp knife can work wonders, too!
4. Bake the Cinnamon Rolls
Place the Cookies & Cream Cinnamon Rolls in a 9×13″ pan or baking dish and let rise for another 20-30 minutes. Then bake for 25-30 minutes or until they are golden brown on top!
5. Top With Icing and Oreos
Once they cool off a bit, mix the icing together and pour it evenly over the sweet rolls. Feel free to adjust the icing consistency anywhere from a light glaze up to a fluffy frosting. Add more crumbled Oreo cookies and let set!
Storing Oreo Cinnamon Rolls
Cinnamon rolls are always best served fresh. However, once fully cooled, these Oreo Cinnamon Rolls can also be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the microwave!
You can also freeze cinnamon rolls. Simply let them cool after baking and place them in an airtight container (without the icing). Store in the freezer for up to 3 months and reheat in the microwave or oven!
TIP: It’s always best to wait on icing frozen cinnamon rolls until after you reheat them.
