This Pink Gin Sour is crisp, bright, and the perfect amount of sweet. The berry gin is quintessentially botanical and earthy, and the strawberry simple syrup compliments it so well. Lemon juice brightens the flavor and the cocktail gets shaken with an egg white for a light and airy foam to top it off!
Pink Gin Sour Recipe
This gin cocktail reminds me of a berry lemonade with all the tasty complexity of gin added in! As we enter into spring, it’s a refreshing and adorably pink drink to serve to guests, for girl’s nights, or a fun cocktail on the weekend. The strawberry simple syrup is also so easy to make. Just use the recipe from our Valentine’s Cocktail!
Shaking the cocktail with an egg white makes it frothy and smooths out the edges of the gin and fresh lemon juice. You’ll love the airy topping that floats on top of the pink drink!

Ingredients
You’ll only need 4 simple ingredients for this easy berry cocktail!
- Bombay Bramble Gin – This gin is flavored with blackberries and raspberries and is so good, but you can use whatever gin you like best! It also gives the drink that beautiful pink color.
- Strawberry Simple Syrup – Use the recipe from our Valentine’s Day Cocktail or you can just pick up a store-bought syrup to save time.
- Lemon juice – Freshly squeezed is definitely best.
- Egg White – Sounds weird, I know! But when shaken with the cocktail and ice, the proteins change and make the most delightful froth.
How to Make a Pink Gin Sour
It’s so easy to put this drink together! Here’s how to make a Pink Gin Sour (Triple Berry Cocktail) in just 5 minutes or less:
- Add the ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
- Add in a handful of ice.
- Shake vigorously for 1 minute. Time yourself – the egg white needs the full minute to do its magic!
- Strain into a glass of your choice, garnish with a lemon twist, serve, and enjoy!
Garnish Ideas: Add fresh lemon slices, a lemon twist, little chamomile flowers, or freshly sliced strawberries for something fun!
Tips and Pairings
Gin – The berry gin pairs well with the strawberry syrup and lemon juice, but you could easily use different types of gin. Don’t love gin? Vodka or a raspberry liqueur would be a great substitute.
Additions – Muddled berries, or berries floating in the drink would be delicious additions. You can also make it bubbly by adding some soda water.
Pairings – This bright cocktail would pair well with grilled proteins like chicken or fish, spicy foods like Indian and Thai cuisine, and fresh veggies like a cucumber salad. It’s also great with summer/spring inspired treats, like these Lemon Bar Cookies!
