These Christmas Chocolate Truffles are easy to make and SO yummy! Perfect for gifting, holiday parties, or for when you're craving a chocolatey treat, this simple recipe makes for the tastiest little treats. Make a big batch of these truffles on the stovetop, coat them in a chocolate shell, and add your favorite toppings!

Chocolate Topping 2 ounces dark chocolate or white chocolate 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil holiday sprinkles flaky salt optional
Heat the heavy cream and butter on the stovetop or in the microwave until hot, but not boiling.
Add in the chocolate and quickly stir until it melts.
Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
Roll the mixture into balls, then place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together in a small mixing bowl in the microwave, mixing every 15 seconds until melted.
Coat each truffle in the melted chocolate, then place on the baking sheet and top with sprinkles and/or flaky salt.
Freeze the truffles for 15-30 minutes and enjoy!
