2 ounces blanco tequila 3 ounces blood orange juice freshly squeezed 1 ounce triple sec 1 ounce agave Citrus Sugar Rim 1 Tablespoon blood orange zest 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Citrus Sugar Rim On a small plate combine the sugar and zest and use the back of a spoon to smash the zest into the sugar.
Swipe the rim of your glass with the juiced oranges to wet it and dip the glass into the citrus sugar mixture.
Place a few ice cubes in the glass and then prepare the drink.
Make a pitcher of 4 drinks: 1 cup tequila, 1 1/4 cups blood orange juice, 1/2 cup Triple Sec, 1/2 cup agave.
Feel free to adjust the amount of agave to taste!
