2 sheets puff pastry 2/3 cup nutella 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1 large egg 1/4 cup crushed nuts optional, to mix with nutella
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Roll out or unfold the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
Spread the nutella on top evenly.
Add the crushed nuts, if using, and sprinkle on the cinnamon.
Slice into 1 inch wide strips and roll up like a cinnamon roll. You can also trist them, or roll up like a croissant.
Whisk up the egg, then lightly brush on top.
Bake for 13-17 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Let cool, then dust with powdered sugar and enjoy!
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days!
Reheat for a few minutes in the oven or an air fryer, or enjoy them at room temp.
