Ingredients
This Strawberry Rhubarb Jam only takes a handful of ingredients and they all go together in one pot. It’s so simple and delicious! Here’s what you’ll need:
Sliced Strawberries – Measure your strawberries AFTER slicing them for an accurate amount.
Rhubarb – Using frozen rhubarb means you can make this year-round, but if you can find fresh rhubarb in season, feel free to use that!
Sugar and Salt – Essentials for the best homemade jam.
Orange Juice – Freshly squeezed is best, but you can use store-bought if that’s what you have. The OJ helps bring out the tanginess of the rhubarb and balance the flavors.
Almond Extract – The almond flavor is the perfect pairing for the jam. It is very subtle, and can easily be substituted with vanilla extract if you prefer that for a warmer taste.
