Apple Simple Syrup (Makes 4 Servings) 1 cup apple cider 1 cup sugar 1 medium apple cut into slices Martini 3 ounces vodka 2 ounces apple simple syrup 1/2 Tablespoon caramel
Add the simple syrup ingredients into a small saucepan and heat on medium-low heat.
Stir and simmer the syrup for 10 minutes, turn off the heat, and let it cool completely.
Strain the syrup and store in an airtight jar.
Add the vodka, apple simple syrup, and caramel into a cocktail shaker with 3-4 ice cubes.
Shake vigorously, and pour into a martini glass.
Garnish with thin apple slices and a drizzle of caramel.
Store any leftover syrup in an airtight syrup bottle in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks . Shake or stir it well before using it.
