How to Make a Brunch Charcuterie Board

We love charcuterie boards around here! From holiday-inspired boards to cheese boards for every occasion, they’re always a fun way to showcase food for parties. Here’s a step-by-step guide for how to make a brunch charcuterie board:

1. Place Board

Once you build this brunch board, you will not want to move it! Plan out where you would like to place your brunch board for the party or gathering and go ahead and set it there.

2. Add Dips

Place your dips (in this case, maple syrup and whipped cream cheese) in pretty, small bowls and add to the center area of the board, spacing evenly apart.

3. Add Breads

Warm and prepare all breads, such as waffles, mini pancakes, and sliced bagels. Place on the outer edges of the board, pressing them right up to and closely to the small bowls.

4. Add Protein

Add sausage links (sliced) and mini egg bites to the board, also pushing them up to the bowls around the outer edges.

5. Fill in With Fruit

Add sliced strawberries, blueberries, and quartered oranges around the outer edges and empty spaces of the board. I like to go back in and add more fruit to fill in any gaps!

6. Food-Safe Flowers

Lastly, add food-safe flowers to any holes throughout the board and around the edges! You can also add small serving spoons and cocktail picks for serving.

What type of flowers are food-safe for charcuterie?

Here are a few of the best food-safe flowers: daisies, lavender, chamomile, waxflower, mums, pansies, roses, violets, lilac, and hibiscus.
