Christmas Cookie Fudge
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter divided
- 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk divided
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
- 2 teaspoons holiday sprinkles or to taste
Instructions
Make the Chocolate Layer
- Place a layer of parchment paper into an 8×8" square baking pan, allowing the edges to stick out a little to be able to lift it later. Set aside.
- Melt the chocolate chips and 2 Tablespoons of butter together in the microwave for about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, mixing at every 15-second increment.
- Once the chocolate chips are fully melted, add 1/2 of the can of sweetened condensed milk and mix until smooth.
- Cover and set the bowl aside, keeping warm and stirring often if possible.
Make the White Chocolate Layer
- Melt the white chocolate chips with the remaining 2 Tablespoons of butter together in the microwave for about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, mixing at every 15-second increment to prevent burning and sticking.
- Once the white chocolate chips are fully melted, add the remaining 1/2 of the can of sweetened condensed milk and mix until smooth.
Combine the Christmas Cookie Fudge
- Use a spoon in each bowl to alternate pouring the chocolate mixture and white chocolate mixture into the pan.
- Once the entire bowls have been poured in, use a spatula to "marble" the layers (making sure not to overmix them).
- Immediately top with sprinkles and any other toppings of choice.
- Place in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
- Lift the parchment paper out of the pan and cut the fudge into about 16 squares.
- Enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure not to overheat the chocolate chips or white chocolate chips! Check them often and stir at every 15-second increment to get them to a place where they are just melted.
