What You’ll Love About This Peppermint Martini Recipe

  • Peppermint Coffee Flavor – The ultimate winter and holiday season coffee flavor is the addition of peppermint. We’ve doubled the coffee flavor by adding coffee liqueur along with brewed espresso, and the peppermint flavor is subtle so it isn’t overpowering.
  • Sweet, but Not Too Sweet – In true Martini fashion, this cocktail is strong and sweet but it’s intentionally not overly sweet to keep the feel of a martini.
  • 4 Simple Ingredients – That’s ALL! No extra prep, or anything extra to make, you simply mix the 4 ingredients in a shaker, shake, and serve.
  • Perfect for Holiday Entertaining – This espresso martini recipe is perfect for all of your holiday gatherings, and you can make it extra festive with a chocolate and peppermint rim!

Ingredients in a Peppermint Espresso Martini

  • Coffee Liqueur – Coffee liqueur is sweet and strong in coffee flavor. Some of the brands I love are Kahlua and Tia Maria.
  • Vodka – Regular vodka is best for this recipe. Use your favorite brand.
  • Espresso – Brew Expresso at home, buy it premade, or mix it up using instant espresso powder. You can use the same amount of strongly brewed coffee as well.
  • Peppermint Extract – Peppermint extract is very strong! Be careful to use it sparingly so the cocktail has a good flavor and not overpowering.
  • Chocolate Syrup & Crushed Peppermint Candies or Crushed Candy Canes for Garnish
